이란 외무부 대변인 에스마일 바그하이는 “문제의 회의는 파키스탄이 독자적으로 주최한 이니셔티브였으며, 이란 인사는 회의에 참여하지 않았다”고 명확히 구분했습니다
그는 또한 “무엇보다도 분명히 해야 할 것은 지금까지 미국과 어떤 형태의 협력도 하지 않았다는 점”이라고 강조했습니다. 그는 “현재 논의 중인 사안은 잠재적 합의에 관한 미국의 제안으로만 구성되어 있으며, 중개인을 통해 우리에게 전달되고 있다”고 덧붙였습니다
한편, 이란의 목표를 넘어 레바논에서 헤즈볼라가 점령한 위치까지 공습을 확대해 온 이스라엘은 이제 레바논 군대 자체에 대한 공격을 시작했습니다.

Iran is further escalating its show of force by destroying a key U.S. reconnaissance asset—widely known as the “Eye in the Sky.”
On the 27th, an Iranian Shahed-136 drone struck a small U.S. medical base within the Slider region, appearing to have completely destroyed it. Valued at approximately 450 billion KRW (roughly $340 million), this aircraft marks the first instance since the 1970s that such a high-value asset has been lost to enemy fire.
Iran’s Fars News Agency reported, “An E-3 Sentry was destroyed by a Shahed-136 drone costing just $20,000 (approx. 30 million KRW).” The agency assessed that “a key takeaway from this conflict is the emergence of a distinct characteristic in modern warfare: the complex interplay between advanced information tactics and unconventional assets.”
Regarding ongoing ceasefire negotiations in Pakistan—to which Iran had dispatched a delegation—Tehran issued a direct statement on the 30th (local time) to clarify its position on potential cooperation with the United States.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei drew a clear distinction, stating, “The meeting in question was an initiative hosted independently by Pakistan; no Iranian personnel participated in the proceedings.”
He further emphasized, “Above all, what must be made absolutely clear is that we have not engaged in any form of cooperation with the United States thus far.” He added, “The matters currently under discussion consist solely of U.S. proposals regarding a potential agreement, conveyed to us through intermediaries.”
Meanwhile, Israel—which has been expanding its airstrikes beyond Iranian targets to include positions held by Hezbollah in Lebanon—has now launched attacks against the Lebanese military itself.
Recently, a United Nations peacekeeping outpost in Lebanon was struck by an explosion, resulting in the death of one peacekeeper.
Additionally, it is reported that three other peacekeepers sustained injuries due to external shelling. If a switch mechanism is present, the side profile would be exposed; a switch linking the airstrikes on Lebanon—which began on the 2nd—is being widely cited as a likely possibility.
It has been reported that the Israeli military shot and killed Lebanese journalists in the West Bank and detained journalists affiliated with CNN.
